What is your go-to activity for health and wellness?
My go-to activity for health and wellness is weight training and hiking.
Why is wellness important to you?
Wellness is important to me because it’s the foundation for everything in your life. If you’re not healthy, you’re not living your best life.
How do you keep a healthy mind?
I keep a healthy mind by meditating — it’s time I get to be with myself and my dreams and challenges.
Do you have any wellness tips or tricks?
There are no wellness “tricks.” The tip is just to do it. We are all busy and we all have crazy lives. Put your health first — and be kind to yourself. The “no pain, no gain” mentality doesn’t work for everyone!

Wright also shares additional thoughts on wellness via her Instagram page. She says she’s learned to treasure each day because life is short. “I think about this every morning when I wake up – How many days do I have left??” Wright rhetorically asked in a social media post. “How many sunrises and sunsets? How many amazing experiences?? Who will I meet today – what adventure or challenge will I face? Earlier this year, Wright celebrated 30 (!) years in daytime drama. She began her career as Ally Rescott on the gone-but-never-forgotten Loving as well as on its later incarnation, The City, and is also known for her run as Cassie on Guiding Light.
