Now that the cat’s out of the bag that Hayley Erin will be leaving General Hospital this fall, the soap has to find a way to write Kiki off the canvas.
With a serial killer with a penchant for blondes on the loose in Port Charles — and especially in the hospital where Kiki works and is a med student — word has it that Kiki will fall victim to Ryan Chamberlain, 25 years after he first terrorized the town.
The story made its way around Twitter on Tuesday night with many fairly certain this is exactly what will happen for a November sweeps story that will have us all on the edges of our seats.
Kiki murdered can open the door to plenty of story as Ava mourns her daughter and regrets all she ever did wrong to her. It could also be the catalyst to bring Ava and Griffin back together, although maybe both characters should veer in a different romantic direction.
While it would have been simple to just have Kiki leave town and find some happiness with Dillon, a murder brings out the tears and can often bring up the ratings.
We may not know what could provoke Ryan into killing Kiki, but she could just be collateral damage as he goes after his real target — Felicia. Or even Maxie, as she often seems like a younger version of her feisty mother.

Erin’s exit also puts to rest the theory that she’s Nina’a daughter now that the soap is tackling that story and some fans are not too sure Sasha is who we should be looking at here.
Whatever happens, it definitely sounds like quite the fall in Port Charles. As for Kiki’s fate, we’ll have to stay tuned and find out.
