- Michael is out to punish Willow and Chase.
- Brook Lynn is the one who will be left heartbroken.
Michael’s Trap
Michael (Rory Gibson) isn’t wrong in his belief that something fishy is going on between Chase (Josh Swickard — who just introduced his new baby) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). Only, he is not willing to let nature take its course, so he is setting a trap to push the exes together.
With a little help from Jacinda (Paige Herschell), Chase and Willow found themselves together, in swimsuits no less. The plan is moving along exactly as Michael wants, and the two are growing closer. They have been reminiscing about old times, and now the Congresswoman offered her ex the job as her Chief of Staff.
Chase loves Brook Lynn, but he is enthralled with Willow.
Collateral Damage
The person who will be hurt the most by this plan is Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton). She will be devastated if Chase has an affair with Willow. BLQ is already suspicious of the Congresswoman. What may be worse is that Tracy (Jane Elliot) is aware of Chase’s behavior, and she will not stand for it.
Michael may have begun this war with Willow over custody of their children, but it has become more than that. He wants to punish his ex-wife and ex-best friend for everything they have done to him. He is not letting anything stand in his way.
Michael knows that Brook Lynn will suffer because of his manipulations, but that doesn’t seem to bother him. His justification is that BLQ is too good for Chase, so she would be better off without him. Brook Lynn will not see it that way. What do you think about Michael’s plan?
