We’ve suspected it would happen since earlier this year when General Hospital star Hayley Erin landed a role on the new Pretty Little Liars spinoff.
Now that the pilot has been picked up as a series, it looks like Erin can’t make both daytime and primetime work together.
According to Daytime Confidential, the young Daytime Emmy-nominated actress is playing out her final story in Port Charles, and rumor has it Kiki will leave in a gruesome way.
This may put to rest the rumors that Kiki is Nina’s daughter (despite the show seemingly going in another direction anyway), and also end the burgeoning Kiki and Griffin romance.
Erin took over the role of Kiki from Kristen Alderson in 2015 and made the character her own. She’s come a long way from gambling troublemaker to successful med student involved in a high-profile #MeToo case this past summer.
