In the August 10 episode of General Hospital, Michael showed Willow grace even before he knew she had the kids. Michael’s good deed isn’t going to go unnoticed by his ex-wife, but it definitely won’t land in a way that benefits him.

Key Takeaways

  • Micheal learned Jacinda drugged Willow.
  • Despite their rocky history, he raced to save her.
  • The fallout just might cost Michael his kids.

Jacinda Crosses a Line

GH fans saw Jacinda (Paige Herschell) drug Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) coffee as she attempted to knock her down a peg or two after Jacinda got served the restraining order. Jacinda thought it was a harmless crime that would expose Willow’s true colors.

However, Michael strongly disapproved of Jacinda’s actions, and that shocked her. After all, Michael had told Jacinda that Willow had waged war on him and her.

Instead of praising Jacinda as she tried to make Willow look bad, Michael rushed off to save his ex-wife. That was even before he learned that Willow had Wiley (Viron Weaver) and Amelia (Sienna Goerisch).

Michael Save Willow Without Hesitation

When Michael arrived at Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) apartment, he was shocked to see his children there having a dance party with their high mom. In true good guy fashion, Michael ushered the kids out of the room and spoke to Willow.

It wasn’t a surprise that Willow didn’t believe Michael when he told her she was high. Willow didn’t get combative either, as the drugs had a hold of her.

In fact, Michael and Willow actually had a decent trip down memory lane before she fell asleep. Michael saved Willow, but there’s no way Willow will see it that way when she wakes up in the morning.

Nice Guys Finish Last

There’s no question that Michael has a dark side, and he hasn’t been showing it lately. Instead, he’s a little bit ruthless, but mostly he has reverted back to the nice guy, and that isn’t good.

Once Willow realizes that Jacinda drugged her, she will no doubt blame him for Jacinda’s actions. Willow will also no doubt use the incident against Michael to force him to give up the kids.

The GH preview video revealed that much was true. In the footage, Willow demands that she take her kids, as Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) promise they can help him stop her.

Michael did a good thing by helping Willow, but he should have known it would cost him, and perhaps had someone else save her. Willow continues to get away with her dirty deeds while everyone pays the price.

Once again, it looks like Michael is poised to be that person as Willow ups her war on him. The Corinthos and Quartermaine heir had better start channeling his dark side quickly because Willow’s walking all over him.
