The General Hospital recap for Thursday, November 16, 2023, features TJ breaking Molly’s heart and telling her their surrogate miscarried.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Also in this episode, Ava lost it on Austin, Joss ended her study dates with Adam, and Anna discovering another clue. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.
A Devastating Loss
It was a soul-crushing day for TJ (Tajh Bellow). Molly (Kristen Vaganos) came home and he had to break her heart with the news of their baby. Poor Molly broke down hearing Andrea lost their child and cried in TJ’s arms.
Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) showed up to deliver the iPad and helped the couple mourn their loss. She even agreed to be the one to tell the family. There was no reason for them to suffer that trauma.

Once alone, TJ dropped the even worse news. Not only did they lose their child, they lost their surrogate. Andrea simply could not put herself through that again. Molly was in shock.
Alexis did as asked. Her first stop was to see Sam (Kelly Monaco). Sam had just finished having an in-depth talk with Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) about Charlotte before her mom showed up. Sam was upset for her sister.
Explosive Confrontations
Over at the gallery, Austin (Roger Howarth) showed up to talk to Ava (Maura West), and she went ballistic. She demanded answers from him, which she got. In fact, he told her literally everything. From his first encounters with Cyrus (Jeff Kober) to having to stand up for him in court to save Ava.
Unfortunately, for Austin, it was too little, too late. Ava was not in a forgiving mood and told him to get out and stay away. She couldn’t trust a con who lied, manipulated, and was one of the reasons her husband was nowhere to be found.
Speaking of cons and lies, Anna (Finola Hughes) met with Sonny (Maurice Benard) and told him all she knew. He was the shooting target, Charlotte was her stalker, and she suspects her trouble wasn’t over yet. She asked him to beef up security while they got to the bottom of everything.
Anna’s suspicions were all but confirmed when she finally went back to her apartment. Not only was her file on the rogue agent gone, but other evidence, too. Uh-oh! She immediately called up Dante for help.
Not Now, Friend
Having an up and down day was Sasha (Sofia Mattsson). No sooner did she admit to having feelings for Cody (Josh Kelly) than he did the same with her. He said all the right things, and it seemed promising until Sasha firmly shut him down. She was flattered, but she was still healing from the loss of her husband and son.
At the same time, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Haven (Morgan Fairchild) gossiped about the potential couple. Haven was thrilled to see Sasha and Cody’s chemistry and hoped to see more of them.
Meanwhile, over at the dorm, Adam (Joshua Benard) was having a terrible time. He showed up at Joss’s (Eden McCoy) door the second she got home and begged her to study. Joss politely declined, saying she was too tired, but Adam pushed and pushed. So much so it was a good thing Dex (Evan Hofer) came down the hall to stop him.
Joss ended their study sessions once and for all, which didn’t please Adam too much. He sulked back to his room, where he took a cryptic call from his dad. Adam promised his pop he “wasn’t doing that anymore.” Was the “that” he was talking about the pills he had hidden away in his drawer?
