General Hospital Recap Highlights

Also in this episode, Blaze made a big decision about her future, Mason’s fate was revealed, and Laura dropped a bombshell on Ava. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into the details.

General Hospital: Divine Romance

Finn (Michael Easton) and Liz (Rebecca Herbst) got better acquainted in all the right ways. They called to check up on their kids before making dinner and getting cozy on the couch. They talked about everything from the kids (does he know Cam has a new girlfriend) to work and everything in between.

One thing led to another, and they spent the rest of their romantic evening in bed. It was a night neither would ever forget.

General Hospital Recap: Wheeling And Dealing

Meanwhile, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) was hyped up for her big day and shared her excitement with Neddie (Wally Kurth). She even invited him along to her meeting, but alas, he was too busy. The conversation came to an abrupt end when Tracy (Jane Elliot) walked into the room.

Tracy went at BLQ about her career choice and once again tried to talk her out of it. She wanted her back at Deception, but BLQ snuffed out that idea and walked out. Tracy called after her and hollered that BLQ would come crawling back one day.

Tracy’s next target was Olivia (Lisa LoCicero). In front of Neddie, Tracy once again went at Olivia for not hauling Neddie off to be committed. He needs therapy, maybe even shock therapy! Olivia rebuked that notion and stood up for him.

Later, after Tracy left, Neddie thanked Olivia. She made it clear therapy was HIS decision. She did wish he’d go, though. She missed her husband.

As for BLQ, she took off for her meeting with Blaze. The meeting was a few minutes late, though, because Blaze was busy turning down Lucy (Lynn Herring). She thanked her for the consideration but told Lucy she should consider keeping the Face of Deception they already had. She then joined Brook Lynn at the club to sign their contract.

Lucy then ran to see Tracy and gave her the news. Sasha stays, just like Tracy demanded. She made it clear this was the last decision Tracy would make, and then she stormed out. Tracy couldn’t help but chuckle.

Speaking of Sasha, she was also at the pub chilling out with Sam (Kelly Monaco), Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), and Cody (Josh Kelly). They ate, drank, and cracked jokes. It showed Sasha she was where she was meant to be. Cody and Sam offered to help Dante and Sam with construction changes because that’s what friends do.

GH Recap: Bad News, Good News, Worse News

Also having a drink was Austin (Roger Howarth) and TJ (Tajh Bellow). As it turned out, TJ stopped Austin from killing Mason (Nathanyael Gray). Austin thanked him and admitted he screwed up. He should have turned his cousin in. TJ did not accept that apology and instead went to the hospital to goad Mason and promise to make him pay.

At the same time, Laura (Genie Francis) paid Ava (Maura West) a visit. She updated her on the hunt for Nikolas. No, they didn’t find him, but they did discover he was still alive. Ava held it together in front of Laura, but once alone, she was nearly sick.

Ava’s first move was to summon Austin to the gallery. The second he arrived, she updated him on Nikolas’s living status and demanded to know if he knew. Austin outright said he had no clue at all. He said the right words, but his mannerisms weren’t exactly convincing Ava.

As for Laura, she went to see Martin. They mostly discussed Cyrus (Jeff Kober) and his early release. Laura was skeptical about his reasoning for getting out of prison. Martin agreed. Something was not right.

Over at Pozzulo, Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Lois (Rena Sofer) got caught up. They talked about the good times and the old times, and she updated him on what was going on in the neighborhood back home. They then talked about Neddie. Wasn’t it strange?
