In the October 22 episode of General Hospital, Emma showed up to help Trina after she received flowers at home. Trina was concerned when her biggest fan got a little bit too close, and her pal Emma was on the case with her. What they discovered, though, was unsettling and raised more questions than answers.
Key Takeaways
- Emma had information for Trina about her flowers.
- They make a shocking discovery online.
- Emma showed up for Trina in a way Josslyn didn’t.
The Friend that Trina Needed
For weeks, someone has been watching Trina (Tabyana Ali), and she has started to realize something isn’t quite right. Trina was fine when she received a beautiful bouquet of red roses at her show with Gio (Giovanni Mazza).
However, when a similar bouquet showed up at her apartment, Trina got freaked out. Josslyn (Eden McCoy), her roommate, thought nothing of it, but it sent off alarm bells for Trina.
Emma (Braedyn Bruner) showed up at Ava’s (Maura West) gallery to talk about the flowers. It was then that GH fans learned Trina had confided in Emma that the flowers made her uneasy.
One Clue Stuck Out
There was only so much Emma could do as she searched online for information. One thing Emma found out was that the flowers came from a guy named Alan Smith, likely a fake name.
After the news, Trina and Emma worked together to uncover more details. Scouring the internet, they stumbled upon a fan site with nothing but pictures of Trina. It mirrored the wall of photos that GH fans have seen before.
Trina commented to Emma that several of the photos had other people in them, but those people were cut out. As Emma took a closer look, Trina noticed the website’s heading read “From Your Biggest Fan,” which was how the red roses were signed. Alarm bells went off for Emma and Trina.
Emma Stepped Up in a Way Josslyn Doesn’t
Once upon a time, Josslyn and Trina were ride-or-die. Even then, though, Trina always seemed to be the one doing the heavy lifting in the friendship.
Josslyn was always in crisis, with Trina as her sounding board. Even as Trina suffered her own life-changes, like Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) dying and learning that Curtis (Donnell Turner) was her father.
Now that Josslyn and Emma are in vastly different chapters in their lives, Emma has become the person Trina turns to in her time of need. Granted, she does lean on Gio (Giovanni Mazza) and Kai (Jens Austin Astrup), but Emma was the one Trina asked to help with the flower situation.
Emma wasted no time jumping in without any hesitation or questions. Josslyn, for her part, has been so wrapped up in taking down Sonny (Maurice Benard) that the flowers showing up at their apartment didn’t raise a red flag.
The fact that, after all these years of friendship, Trina turned to Emma for help instead of her WSB spy best friend/roommate spoke volumes. Josslyn should have the means to find out more about the flowers than Emma, given her WSB status. However, Trina didn’t go that route, she enlisted Emma the granddaugther of a spy.
Emma has been supportive and by Trina’s side as she embarks on this new journey. Gio does play a big part in that, but along the way, Trina and Emma have developed their own bond. These two are teaming up to figure out who seems to be obsessed with Trina, and it spells trouble.
