In the July 28 episode of General Hospital, Willow and Drew finally had it out as he emerged recovered and filled with rage. Even though Drew lost this round thanks to Jack, Willow’s problems are far from over.

Key Takeaways

  • Drew and Willow spilled their true feelings.
  • Willow was saved, but she’s far from the winner.
  • Drew won’t stop until Willow pays.

Willow and Drew Face Off

GH fans have waited months to see Drew (Cameron Mathison) confront Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) over shooting him and incapacitating him. The moment was worth the wait for a hot second.

Willow was shocked to see her husband up and walking around. Drew was thrilled to make his wife squirm as they rehashed the past.

The pure hatred they have for each other was front and center. Just when it seemed like Willow was about to get hers, Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Jack (Chris McKenna) arrived. Willow was once again saved from paying the price for her crimes.

Drew Gets Knocked Down Thanks to Jack

What Willow didn’t know as she had a showdown with her husband was that Jack had the evidence for her to blackmail Drew. That’s exactly what happened once, Jack revealed the news to Drew, as he fumed with the vengeance he has become known for.

Drew didn’t get the upper hand. Instead, Willow called all the shots as she demanded a divorce and his silence.

In true Nina fashion, she chimed in and demanded that he leave Willow and her congressional seat alone. Drew agreed but made it clear as Jack, Willow, and Nina left, their victory wouldn’t last.

Willow Better Watch Her Back

For months, Drew thought of nothing but getting back at his wife, while Willow continued to get away with every single thing she had done. Honestly, the tides turned for him, and Drew totally deserved it.

What that did, though, was give him time to build up his hatred toward Willow. The one thing GH fans have come to count on with Drew is that when he hates someone, there’s nothing he won’t do to make that person’s life miserable.

In this case, it’s Willow, who thinks she has won because of the blackmail evidence and because she’s finally getting a divorce. Willow feels like she has a new lease on life without Drew and remains confident in the winning woman she has become.

Drew knows how his crazy wife thinks and knows she’s feeling pretty good. Nothing will stop him from getting revenge and wiping that smug look off her face. It’s about time fans got to see Drew and Willow at war. Maybe then they can leave the rest of Port Charles alone.
