Even though Valentin insisted Josslyn was in over his head, he was happy Carly stayed out of it. Carly decided this was the perfect time to talk to Valentin about Anna (Finola Hughes).
Carly Uses Anna and Valentin to Help Josslyn
Last week, Carly asked Anna for help with Josslyn and the WSB. Carly filled Valentin in on her conversation with Anna and suggested that Valentin go to therapy with her.
Valentin agreed to reach out to Anna. Then their conversation turned back to Josslyn and the piers.
Carly wasn’t thrilled that Josslyn had gotten herself into a potentially dangerous situation, but she was removed from it. Valentin suggested he may have a way to help Carly’s daughter.

In the entire conversation, Carly was focused on getting Josslyn away from the WSB, or at the very least, finding a way to limit the damage the bureau could cause. What their talks should have focused on was Josslyn’s bold move on Sonny and the danger it has put Josslyn in.
Carly knows Sonny won’t go after Josslyn, something Sonny himself said. However, Carly can’t ignore that Josslyn’s attempt to destroy Sonny has placed her in danger from other people. Let’s be honest, Selena (Lydia Look) didn’t return to Port Charles to lose those piers to the likes of Josslyn.
Josslyn’s playing with the big boys, and Carly knows what that world is like all too well. Instead of ignoring what Josslyn’s doing, Carly should have gone after her daughter for a talk.
It’s not about Carly picking sides or defending Sonny or telling Josslyn to back off. Carly needs to say her peace, as this situation is unlike anything Josslyn has done before and crossed a line with some major players in Port Charles.
Josslyn, of course, wouldn’t have listened because she thinks she knows everything these days, but at least Carly said her piece.
Carly has no problems inserting herself into other people’s business. The situation Josslyn created out of her revenge for Sonny is one time she should have butted in and didn’t, at least not now.
