Picture It: Starr and Kiki BOTH On General Hospital

General HospitalGeneral Hospital's Starr and Kiki

ABC soap opera fans have dreams of old soap opera characters dancing in their heads–all on General Hospital. If Kristen Alderson has anything to say about it, that’s exactly what could happen.

Alderson already appeared on GH as Starr Manning soon after One Life to Live was canceled, but had to give up the role when Prospect Park took over the rights to All My Children and OLTL characters.

Alderson then created the role of Kiki Jerome, but left in 2015 to move back home to Pennsylvania.

Hayley Erin then became Kiki, but Alderson said she wouldn’t mind having an encounter with the character she created–as Starr.

When a fan asked her on Twitter if she’d ever consider returning to General Hospital, she said of course she would.

In fact, she indicated that she’d always made it clear that she told the GH powers-that-be that she’d be happy to visit. When another fan asked if she’d like to come back as Starr or Kiki, Alderson had the perfect idea.

“Starr,” she tweeted with a smile. “Then Starr and Kiki could have scenes.”

She even tagged Hayley Erin in the tweet.

We love Alderson’s idea and would welcome Starr back with open arms. It’s Erin who has the established chemistry with Robert Palmer Watkins’ Dillon, so it works with Kiki staying as she is.

But, Starr is a beloved character we watched grow up before our eyes with Alderson in the role and both actresses in scenes together would be a treat for all fans.
