Last week, Spinelli took on an all-new look on General Hospital when Blake Berris stepped into the role made famous by Bradford Anderson and fans were a bit shell-shocked.
Anderson couldn’t make this appearance on GH like he’s made other recurring stints over the last few years due to another commitment, so former Days of Our Lives star Berris took over the role to officiate over Maxie and Nathan’s wedding.
It turns out both actors were very receptive to the idea of a brand-new Spinelli, if only for a little while.

Berris tweeted out his appreciation to the warm welcome, while Anderson tweeted his appreciation to Berris-thanking him for giving Spinelli a look that Anderson could never achieve.
While there’s no word on whether Berris will have to step into Anderson’s shoes again, at least we know fans will be used to a new twist on the character next time.
