General Hospital fans need to get ready to discover more about Jordan Ashford’s past. The temporary Aurora Media CEO has had several evolutions during the character’s 12-plus years on the show. And while certain parts of her past are known, we’re finally going to learn more.

Key Takeaways

  • GH is finally set to explore more of Jordan’s life before the DEA and Port Charles.
  • Someone from Jordan’s past will resurface and complicate her future.
  • Jordan and Michael will develop a special bond while Curtis is behind bars.

What’s Happening with Jordan Right Now

Jordan’s current status is rocky. She had an accident that resulted in the scarring of her face and neck. It has changed everything she thought about herself. On top of that, her significant other is in prison after assaulting his nemesis. Curtis’s laser-focused vendetta against Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) helped land him behind bars with Sidwell (Carlo Rota) as his roommate.

Jordan (Tanisha Harper) somehow stood by her man, even through his blind insistence that Isaiah drove the other car the night of their accident. And even though his decision to reject the plea deal could have meant he would serve about eight months in jail. He went through with the trial, and a judge sentenced him to 10 years.

Of course, he could be out in two years with good behavior. But in his absence, Jordan has stepped up as the new CEO of Aurora Media, a role that has her interacting with Michael (Rory Gibson) more than ever before.

What’s About to Happen with Jordan

We do know a few things about Jordan’s life before she arrived in Port Charles. She was an undercover DEA agent. She was married to Curtis’s older brother. And she had a kid, TJ (Tajh Bellow), whose father turned out to be Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) instead of her husband, Tommy Ashford.

According to Soap Opera Digest, GH is about to fill in some more blanks. In an interview with co-head writers Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten, they shared that “a face from Jordan’s past will complicate her future.”

It’s unclear whether this person is from her romantic past, her family, or somewhere else entirely. But it’ll involve her past before the DEA, and whatever happened led to her coming to Port Charles.

But that’s not all. If you noticed how Michael and Jordan have been having more one-on-one conversations lately, there may be a reason for that. The two can relate to each other. Jordan’s scars and Michael’s burns have been a go-to topic as their friendship has developed. Look for her and Michael to “develop a special bond.”

Now, exactly what does “special bond” mean? Michael will undoubtedly have Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) to contend with, while Jordan will probably continue to struggle with being apart from Curtis (Donnell Turner). That could leave Michael and Jordan turning to each other for support.

So will this bond be a close, platonic friendship or something more?
