It looks like John Stamos has General Hospital on the mind ever since his heartwarming reunion with his former GH co-star, Demi Moore.
Port Charles Past
GH was first to reveal that Stamos (ex-Blackie) presented Moore (ex-Jackie) with the award for Best Actress at the AARP Awards for her role in The Substance. The two were captured reuniting on the red carpet, where they shared smiles and hugs.
Stamos and Moore shared the screen back in 1982 when they played Blackie Parrish and Jackie Templeton. Neither have returned to Port Charles to reprise their roles, but while Moore’s character has since been recast with Kim Delaney, Stamos’ character is only mentioned every once in a while. Lucy (Lynn Herring) even once teased a Blackie return at a previous Nurses Ball but broke the news that he wasn’t able to make it.
Since the reunion, Stamos has shared even more GH photos with his Instagram followers. Along with photos of himself with Moore and Anthony Geary (ex-Luke), Stamos wrote, “More Moore- and the great Tony Geary. Blackie, Jackie and LUKE!”
The post received nearly 28,000 likes, and fans relished the memories. One wrote, “GH was must-see TV!” while another emphasized, “I watched GH when you first came on!!”

Many fans noted how they would have to hurry home from school to catch GH back in the day. “When I was 13 I used to run home from the bus to watch General Hospital, the greatest crew ever,” one shared. “I used to watch GH with my mom when I was little. I was obsessed with Blackie and the Riff Raff and the continuing saga of Luke and Laura when I was a 3-year-old!” said another, referring to the classic Luke and Laura (Genie Francis) days of GH in the early ’80s.
