Nina Reeves and Ava Jerome Cassadine are good pals on General Hospital, and so are their respective portrayers, Cynthia Watros and Maura West. Now, devotees of the duo have multiple chances to hang with these two fine actresses in the spring.
Cynthia Watros Talks Dining With Nina and Ava
“Hi, everyone,” Watros began an Instagram post that was shot in her GH dressing room. “It’s nice to see you guys. I hope you’re doing okay.”
Watros went on to say that she was shooting scenes with West that day, which reminded her to let followers know of some upcoming personal appearances she and Ava’s portrayer will be making. “Maura and I are going to do a private dinner in Astoria [New York] on April 14,” Watros shared. What goes on at a private dinner? “We get to eat really good food, we get to talk,” she says. “We can talk about the show. We can talk about our lives.”
Watros and West Go East
Watros says she enjoys not only talking about GH but also getting to know the show’s supporters. “I can ask you all sorts of questions because I love doing that,” she adds.

And it’s not just one upcoming event. On April 15, Watros and West will be at the Stress Factory Comedy Club in New Jersey. “We’re going to have a great time,” Nina’s portrayer reveals. “I’ve never been there. I want to check it out [and you] can check it out with me.”

There’s more! On April 16, Watros and West will be joined by two GH co-stars for a dance party. “I love to dance,” Watros shares. “You don’t have to say any more than that. Just…let’s go! Have a good time. We can dance…we can have fun together. Maura and I will be there [along with] Eden [McCoy, Joss] and Laura [Wright, Carly]. Can you get any better than that?”
