To say that the life of General Hospital’s T.J. Ashford was complicated would be an understatement. Luckily for his portrayer, Tajh Bellow, life is far sweeter…especially in light of the milestone he is celebrating.
Happy Birthday, Tajh Bellow!
And that’s because he was born on February 9, 1995, in Katy, Texas, which means that this talented actor turns 28 years old today! Bellow’s first professional credit was “Eric” in the religious drama Don’t Touch If You Ain’t Prayed 2 (2008).
He followed that up with bit parts in several films, including “Boy Who Kills Mean Guard” in The Man Who Came Back (2008), “Ronnie’s Friend Zak” in Roles Models (2008), and TV shows like Twentysixmiles (2010), in which he played “Nerdy Kid.”
The handsome star went on to appear in episodes of The Middle (2013), The First Family (2013), Save Me (2013), Sam & Cat (2013), Twisted (2014), Filthy Preppy Teen$ (2015), K.C. Undercover (2018), and Bosch (2018).
Bellow debuted on General Hospital in the role of T.J. Ashford on November 20, 2018. He is the third actor to play T.J. following Krys Meyer and Tequan Richmond.
Since his debut, Bellow has experienced a plethora of drama — both behind the scenes and off. In the fictional world of GH, T.J. was abducted and battered all in an attempt to force his mother into submitting to the demands of a drug kingpin that she had wronged in the past. The kidnapping’s resulting injuries went a long way in explaining the crutches that Bellow was forced to sport in the aftermath of an injury to his quadriceps.
Back in soapland, T.J. then learned that his girlfriend cheated on him during the time he spent in captivity. They weathered that storm and committed to each other in a civil union.
In July 2020, Bellow opened up about losing a beloved relative to COVID, a now all-too-common tragedy experienced by many.
Bellow is an avid outdoorsman, a swimming and sports enthusiast, and a fan of anime and video games. He also plays the saxophone when time allows. Soap Hub would like to wish Bellow a very happy birthday, and you can too by clicking on the Twitter link below.
