When one watches the goings-on in Port Charles, it makes sense as each day unfolds, but when these General Hospital stars start listing out all the crazy things, they make some excellent points. Check out what they have to say about it all.
General Hospital Stars Love Port Charles
“Port Charles is crazy,” begins Donnell Turner with a laugh in this featurette from the show. Since he plays Curtis, he would certainly know. That intro sets up a series of scenes that bring his point home — and it’s pretty darn funny. “I wouldn’t want to be anywhere [else]. I love me some Port Charles,” he adds.
“You know, it’s just Port Charles,” smiles Maurice Benard. “Anything can happen.” And certainly, with his character Sonny in on the action, it usually does. “The unexpected is always around the corner.” What you can expect is to see more clips backing up what he just said.
Kirsten Storms is up next as she tells the camera, “I always say whenever I see people doing scenes on the docks, ‘Why [does] anyone go to the docks anymore? It doesn’t make any sense. There’s always a murder, somebody falls in the water, you find a dead body, you get mugged, attacked…like you shouldn’t go there anymore.” Surely her character Maxie knows better.
“When you go to the hospital, you don’t always survive,” smiles Laura Wright. She’s interviewed alongside the actor who plays her character Carly’s current squeeze, Drew — Cameron Mathison. So, of course, we get some more clips that show how that happens.
Next comes Tabyana Ali (Trina), who adds, “It’s almost like a porthole into a different dimension.” Co-star Nicholas Alexander Chavez (Spencer) chimes in and says, “You couldn’t find anywhere else in the world where drama unfolds quite like this.” That’s when you get a clip of Nancy Lee Grahn’s Alexis explaining poor Sasha Gilmore Corbin’s (Sofia Mattsson) last year, in which she was put through the wringer. There is a lot more to this, so check it out for yourself below.
