The Never Ending Story: Why Peter In The Bed Needs Put To Rest on General Hospital

How much longer can General Hospital (GH) fans watch Peter lay in that bed in the same position wondering when he will ever shower or how on earth he’s gone to the bathroom?

Yes, these are the things we think about when we see a character tied to a bed post for well over a month while he’s tortured by the crazy mother of his late half-brother?

When this started, we figured this little arc would last two weeks tops? Now, it’s going on six weeks, and every time it seems like there’s an end in sight, well, there’s not. We thought Kim and Julian would find him. Then, we thought Sam might get more than a clue. But, nope.

Now, it looks like Franco may be the key to Peter going potty after all these weeks as PC Pioneer Wyatt lets his art therapist know he saw a man tied to a bed in the woods. Somehow Finn also gets involved, and at least he can act as a surrogate dad. Maybe?

Because OF COURSE GH would have Anna spending months trying to find her long-lost retconned son, only to have him held hostage by Obrecht when Finola Hughes goes on her usual summer vacation.

So, either we wait till the end of the summer for her return or Peter gets out of that bed much sooner thanks to his mother’s boyfriend and he and the fans are put out of their misery.

Because it HAS to happen already. Every picture of Peter since the day Obrecht brought him to this cabin looks EXACTLY THE SAME. He’s laying there, in the same damn clothes, the same damn position, looking angry, sad, and pathetic.

How much longer do we have to watch this? Every week we hope it’s going to end, but nope, Friday comes and Peter is still in the damn bed laying on his striped pillow.

Kidnapping and hostage stories are common on soaps, but this one needs to come to an end. Any day now would be nice, GH. K, thanks, bye.
