Although Bryan Craig teased fans this weekend about a General Hospital (GH) return, he had to go back on Instagram and admit he was just kidding around and not making his PC comeback at all.
Still, does that mean Morgan has to stay dead? Of course not. It’s high time Morgan (whose body was of course never found) returns. For more story and so Carly can have another story.
Seriously, just because Craig is finding success in primetime with the new fall series Grand Hotel in the works, doesn’t mean GH has to do without this core character.
A new actor could bring out a whole different side of the character in a medium in which recasts are just a normal part of life.
And, who knows? Maybe it’s already a done deal. It would make perfect sense if it’s Morgan in that room next to Carly. While we have already speculated it could be Ryan or Kevin, we’re also not ruling out Morgan.
After all, he did have his own psychological problems, but of course we’d have to know how and why he ended up at Ferncliff and how and why Kevin seems to know he’s there.
Perhaps the person in that room is reaching out to Carly for a reason–because he hears the voice and he recognizes it. There has to be more to this Ferncliff story than just Carly paying badly for Nelle’s antics.
We were introduced to a new character in the room next door for a reason, and if that new character is not an old character, this would honestly just be bad soap with one more story without a point.
General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
