The soap world was shocked yesterday when former One Life to Live and General Hospital star Kristen Alderson took to social media to announce her brother, Eddie, was diagnosed with Lymphoma.
Soap fans watched both Kristen and Eddie grow up onscreen as Starr Manning and Matthew Buchanan on OLTL. Kristen asked for prayers for her younger brother and by evening had an update that Eddie had Hodgkins Lymphoma, which is more treatable than they expected.

Michael Easton, who played John McBain on OLTL and now plays Hamilton Finn on GH, took to his Facebook page to wish Eddie the best through this difficult treatment and recovery journey. He even posted a nostalgic pic of him, Robert Woods (Bo, OLTL) and Eddie at Yankee Stadium years ago. See below for Easton’s touching words.
