In the May 19 episode of General Hospital, Cullum moved forward with his theory that Danny was the real shooter and Jason covered for him. Sidwell wasn’t on board with Cullum killing the teen, but Danny and Charlotte just made a move that may have helped Cullum’s case.
Key Takeaways
- Cullum won’t back down from his Danny theory.
- Danny and Charlotte broke into Wyndemere.
- Cullum busted them, and it spells trouble.
There’s No Changing Cullum’s Mind
Something clicked in Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) when he saw the picture of Jason (Steve Burton) and Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) at Carly’s (Laura Wright) house. Cullum has since been convinced that Danny shot him, not Jason, and has been out for revenge.
When Cullum got nowhere with Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) at the PCPD last week, he decided to take matters into his own hands. Cullum wanted to kill Danny, but Sidwell (Carlo Rotta) reminded him of the attention that would bring to their project.
Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) walked in on their conversation, which led Cullum to withhold her medication for lying to him about who shot him. Although she confirmed to Cullum that she lied, she didn’t mention Rocco.
Instead, Britt admitted that when she regained consciousness, Jason was the only one on the pier, so she assumed it was him. This only got Cullum more riled up and out for blood.
Danny and Charlotte’s Dumb Move Will Cost Them
While Britt, Sidwell, and Cullum were talking about her medication and the project, little did they know Danny and Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) were listening outside Wyndemere. The teens got an earful but were determined to move forward with finding evidence to free Jason.
Once the coast was clear, Charlotte and Danny snuck inside, where they decided to find out what was up with the project and take the information to Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). In true soap fashion, Cullum busted them in the foyer as they were headed to the sub-basement.
There’s no question that catching Danny and Charlotte was a treat for Cullum, as he was desperate to harm Danny, but it’s not that cut and dry.
Why Cullum’s Gift Really Spells Trouble for Everyone Involved
After he learned what Charlotte and Danny were up to, Rocoo (Finn Carr) went to talk to Gio (Giovanni Mazza) and Britt. Gio headed to fill Dante in on Rocco losing his mind, which means the police commissioner will be looking for the teens.
Granted, Dante doesn’t know where to look, but Britt does. Britt may not be as keen to help the teens because she’s focused on protecting Rocco, but Rocco won’t give her a choice because he keeps spiraling, and his siblings are in trouble.
Unlike with Anna (Finola Hughes), whose absence could easily be explained, Cullum doing something to the teens won’t be easily explained. They have parents, guardians, and family who will be on the lookout for them.
Plus, Britt and Rocco know the last place Charlotte and Danny were headed was Wyndemere.
Cullum doesn’t know that, though, which means he’s feeling pretty good about getting revenge. The reality is, Cullum and Sidwell need to proceed with caution regarding the teens, that is, if Cullum even tells Sidwell about the teens.
If the teens go missing, a major spotlight will be shined on Wyndemere, leading to even more trouble for Sidwell and Cullum. At this point, the walls appear to be closing in on them, posing a danger to the people of Port Charles.
