General Hospital (GH) star Emme Rylan is expecting her first daughter (and third child) later this spring, so a maternity leave is on the way.
Lulu (Emme Rylan) has been front burner for months after discovering Charlotte is her child, created in a petri dish with her egg and Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) sperm. She didn’t win custody of the girl like she expected, since Valentin is a (non-convicted) murderer and kidnapper, after all.
Now, she is left obsessing over the child who wants nothing to do with her, while Rylan is on her way out the door for her blessed event–albeit temporarily.
Soap Hub asked how you want to see Lulu written off for a while, and it looks like you may be tired of the drama.
There, But Not There
Out of about 3,000 votes, 60% of you think Lulu should stay in Port Charles. We just won’t see her for a while.
She can be like Audrey Hardy who is always around to watch Liz’s “boys” whether we see her face or not. Just say she’s home being a full-time mom to Rocco and make it simple.

On The Run
A smaller 23% of you think she should do the unthinkable and kidnap Charlotte. It can become a dramatic mystery as everyone searches for them, except we’ll have no idea where they are because Rylan will be on maternity leave.
Last year, Teresa Castillo disappeared into the night with Carlos and then returned months later after sending her baby to live with Tracy.
Lulu Goes Loco
The final 17% would like to see Lulu lose her marbles and go insane. After all, she’s been through a whole lot in her young life.
She regrets the abortion that left her unable to have kids naturally, and just wants her daughter. As more and more goes wrong, you can see Luke (Tony Geary) and Laura’s (Genie Francis) daughter going off the deep end.
