Does Liz Needs A Little Lucky In Her Life? It Might Be Time…

 Comments

Liz has never been lucky in love–even when she had Lucky Spencer by her side on General Hospital (GH).

Their relationship started out as tumultuous in their teen years and had its ups and downs with marriages and kids along the way–as well as other partners for both of them.

Right now, Liz (Rebecca Herbst) hasn’t seen Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) in about two years and is finally in what is a relatively healthy relationship with Franco (but it IS Franco, so who knows). Soap Hub asked who you prefer for Liz of all her many men and your answer was rather predictable.

Lucky, Come Home
Out of about 11,000 votes, the majority of you–52% to be exact–choose Lucky. He was her first love, the one she always went back to (when he was around) and the two share a bond that seems to never truly break. Lucky and Liz are nearly synonymous with many GH fans and for good reason.

Lovin’ Friz
Elizabeth’s current love, Franco (Roger Howarth), was not even a close second, and can in fact be considered a pretty distant one.

Only 24% of you choose the former serial killer that got away with his crimes with a brain tumor defense. (In all fairness, he did have a brain tumor, but was also a serial killer, so does that even out?)

Oh, Brother!
Lucky’s brother, Nikolas (Tyler Christopher), who Liz had an affair with while married to Lucky, came in third with 12% of the vote.

He’s presumed dead at the moment anyway and they had resolved themselves to being best friends for years before Nik took that bullet and fell out that window on Cassadine Island.

Over It?
And then there’s Jason (now-Billy Miller), who came in fourth with 10% of the vote. Liz’s obsession with Jason led to a child (Jake) and some pretty nifty lies from the not-always-good nurse. She ruined her chances for good (seemingly) when she lied to Jason about his identity for seven months (or did she?).

Well, He Needs a Life
Finally, a very small percent (3%, to be exact) want Liz with ex-husband, Ric (Rick Hearst). He’s presumably still in town, although we don’t see him much.

While he never seemed to be a great love, he did make a great match when Liz was in conniving mode.
