Former General Hospital and One Life to Live star, Kristen Alderson (ex-Kiki; ex-Starr), took to Instagram for World Cancer Day on February 4.
She paid tribute brother, Eddie (ex-Matthew, OLTL), who was first diagnosed with the disease on November 11, and spoke about his journey through treatment.
The actress said it’s an honor to be there with him every step of his journey. She previously posted pictures of him undergoing treatment, updating fans about his progress throughout. She also sent out prayers, love, sympathy, amazement, and awe to everyone else out there who has had to deal with the disease.
Eddie appears to be doing great and is very much in love. A few days ago, he shared a video on Instagram (see below) of the love of his life, Sylwia Pracon, wishing her a very happy birthday.
Soap Hub sends congrats to Eddie and Sylvia and also wishes Eddie great health as his journey continues.

#WorldCancerDay On November 11th my family and I heard the word no one ever wants to hear. I always had great compassion when I heard that someone was suffering with Cancer, but you truly don’t know the feeling until it hits you or your family. Being with my brother @eddiealderson every step through his journey has been and continues to be the biggest honor. I have learned sooo much. It has been the most terrifying, yet insanely inspiring experience we’ve ever faced. My prayers, love, sympathy, amazement, and awe goes out to anyone that has or has ever had cancer or has a loved one with cancer. We are all in this together????????
Happy happy birthday to the prettiest girl in the world/love of my life. Trying to find the words to describe what you mean to me is nearly impossible. This past year you’ve brought more joy into my life than I ever thought I’d find. Almost 3 months ago I was hit with life changing news, and you were right there by my side, without hesitation. You’ve been my rock. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to describe to you how deeply I love you, but I hope over the the next 80 years that we have together, I’ll somehow find the words and you’ll then understand. Until then, I’ll simply say, Kocham cię Więcej @sylwiapracon
