Yes, Kiki is the obvious choice and fans have suspected it ever since Nina woke from her 20-year coma on General Hospital, but sometimes the obvious is the one that works.
If we had any doubts that Kiki (Hayley Erin) was Nina’s daughter before, they were about 99% squashed on Wednesday’s episode.
It’s clear the young woman who looks a whole lot like Nina’s cousin, Britt, is not Nina’s daughter and nothing but a red herring to throw fans off. Curtis couldn’t have found the young woman that easily or else this isn’t a soap.
But, the conversation Nina (Michelle Stafford) had with Ava (Maura West) yesterday pretty much clinched it for us. Nina asked Ava how she could be so angry and vicious with her own daughter and Ava gave a small, subtle, flash of a look that said, well, maybe she’s not my flesh and blood after all.
If Kiki is Nina’s, we assume Ava raised her from birth and has a deep motherly bond with the girl that’s been apparent since both women arrived in Port Charles.
But, there’s also been a deep-seeded animosity between the two that even finds them sharing one another’s men. It’s as if Ava sees Kiki more as a rival than as her own child.

Those scenes were also juxtaposed with scenes of Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) discussing Nina’s daughter and the DNA test that girl oddly agreed to have with not much prodding.
We can also take into consideration that Ava and Kiki’s relationship is at the worst place it’s ever been, which makes it the perfect time to find out Kiki belongs to someone else.
While we’ve secretly wanted Franco (Roger Howarth) to turn out to be Kiki’s dad in the end, after all, it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen. But, having Nina’s daughter be someone she used to live with is MUCH better than the girl being a random stranger and offers so much more story possibility.
