There are way too many baby stories going on at once on General Hospital (GH) and we’re sure they all have to interconnect somehow. And, with two of them involving Carly, there’s bound to be an uh-oh here.
Carly (Laura Wright) is the alleged grandmother of the baby Nelle (Chloe Lanier) is carrying (so say the paternity results, which we know can be doctored) and the aunt-to-be of the potential baby Lucas (Ryan Carnes) and Brad (Parry Shen) want to adopt.
We know that she’s totally against Lucas and Brad not knowing anything about the bio mother of any baby they get, but she’s also totally against Michael (Chad Duell) and Nelle raising a baby together.
Although it’s way out there, she COULD somehow take Nelle’s baby and give it to Brad and Lucas. Hey, stranger things have happened?
Another completely strange occurrence would be her somehow convincing Nelle to give her baby up, especially if something happens that makes Michael want absolutely nothing to do with her–again. (This something would have to be big since Michael is such a sap.)
But, then what of Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) baby? Somehow this baby has to become involved, as well, right?

We’ve already theorized that either Nelle or Maxie’s baby could die, and one ends up with the other’s. But, what if both babies live, are switched anyway, and one of them ends up with Lucas and Brad?
One mother might not even know her baby is actually alive or she can end up with some random baby. With so many potential babies invading Port Charles, just about anything can happen right?
While Soap Hub is not sure what exactly will happen, we know that it won’t be all sunshine and roses for ANY of these prospective parents.
