In the June 8 episode of General Hospital, Cassius was shocked to learn that Sidwell and Cullum had kidnapped Liesl. Cullum was equally stunned to learn that Josslyn was being held hostage at Wyndmere as well.

Key Takeaways

  • Cullum put Cassius in the hot seat over Josslyn.
  • Cassius stood his ground, but Cullum wasn’t buying it.
  • The walls are closing in on Cassius’ cover as Nathan.

Harsh Words and Veiled Threats

It was only a matter of time before Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) learned that Josslyn (Eden McCoy) was stashed in the basement at Wyndemere. That is what happened when he dumped Liesl (Kathleen Gati) in the room where they kept Anna (Finola Hughes) hostage.

Cullum went on the warpath as he confronted Cassius (Ryan Paevey) and Sidwell (Carlo Rotta) over Josslyn. Things went from bad to worse when Sidewall was called away, thanks to Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Laura (Genei Francis).

Cassius and Cullum exchanged heated words about Josslyn and Faison’s (Anders Hove) final project. Cullum accused Cassius of trying to sabotage the project, while Cassius reminded Cullum that he was the son of the evil mastermind.

Winning The Battle But Not The War

There’s no love lost between Cullum and Cassius, that’s for sure. However, Cassius convinced Cullum not to kill Josslyn, making this the second time he saved the WSB agent.

In true Cullum fashion, he couldn’t just let it go, though. Cullum reminded Cassius to make sure Liesl didn’t escape as he did with Britt (Kelly Thiebaud).

Meanwhile, Cassius played it off like he couldn’t care less about what happened to Liesl, but that is not true, and Cullum knows it. If that wasn’t bad enough, Cassius walked in on Josslyn about to spill all to Liesl that he wasn’t really Nathan.

The Fallout of Cassius on the Defense

Cassius may have won this round and kept Josslyn alive again. However, he is showing his true colors to Cullum and Sidwell regarding the WSB agent. The way Cassius has insisted on keeping Josslyn alive has given them a clue that Cassius may not be as valuable as they thought.

It also puts their project in jeopardy. GH fans know there is nothing they want more right now than to finish Faison’s final project. While Sidwell remains distracted by Marco’s (Adrian Anchondo) death, Cullum is more determined than ever that nothing will get in their way, even Cassius.

GH spoilers reveal that “Nathan” comes clean this week. All signs point to Cassius telling Liesl the truth, which, we think, she already knows he isn’t Nathan.

The fallout of that could lead to Josslyn, Liesl, and Cassius teaming up to get rid of Cullum and Sidwell. One thing is for sure. The walls are closing in on Cassius in many ways, so he had better tread carefully.
