It has been months since we’ve seen General Hospital‘s Anna Devane. The former Port Charles police commissioner has been dealing with her mental health crisis at a psychiatric clinic in France. That’s when she isn’t trying to escape. The Wednesday, June 24 spoilers reveal that we finally get to check in with Anna — not just hear about her status or her escape antics. We actually get to see her. Finola Hughes has returned.

Anna Devane Resurfaces
The last nine months or so for Anna (Finola Hughes) have been hellish. She was kidnapped out of her car. Gaslit, drugged, and she was made to believe that Faison (Anders Hove) was alive. Nobody knew that she was held in that prison apartment at Wyndemere. At least not until Joss (Eden McCoy) ended up in that same prison apartment.
And then Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Sidwell (Carlo Rota) carted her off to a French psychiatric facility, where they left her to try and piece together her shattered psyche. Along the way, she tried to escape a couple of times, which got her in trouble with French law enforcement.
But for the moment, she’s still in a facility. And when we finally see her again, she meets with her doctor. In the GH weekly video preview, there’s a quick shot of her with a brand-new hairstyle, knitting needles, and a give-them-hell expression on her face. Knowing Anna, she already has another scheme to get herself out of there.
Carly Confesses
According to the weekly spoilers, Carly (Laura Wright) makes a stunning confession. Carly is holding on to a lot of secrets right now. And in the video promo, it looks like she does come clean to Lucas (Van Hansis) because she needs his help to save Joss. So he may be the one on the business end of her stunning confession.
If Carly unloads all, she could tell her brother that 1) Joss is a WSB agent, which is why she broke up with Jack (Chris McKenna). 2) She committed treason by sheltering Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) in her attic for months. 3) Valentin is the one she has been sleeping with. After all, Lucas knows his sister has been seeing someone.
In the promo, Carly definitely tells Lucas about Joss. And since Lucas is in his action hero era, you can bet he will sign on to help infiltrate Wyndemere and go searching for Joss.
Elsewhere In and Out of Port Charles
Meanwhile, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) is in the British Virgin. Islands, where she has been hiding out with Rocco (Finn Carr). When she extracts a promise, it could be from Rocco or maybe from someone who catches up to them. As for Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), he is on the hunt for Britt and Rocco. But when he suddenly pulls a fast one, is it connected to his search?
And finally, while everybody’s experiencing drama, danger, and international intrigue, Gio (Giovanni Mazza) and Emma (Braedyn Bruner) hit the pool. The summer season officially kicks in on GH.
