He’s become a hopeless romantic on General Hospital (GH) as Kevin’s fallen in love with Laura (okay, he proposed over crayons at Kelly’s), and now the man who plays him, Jon Lindstrom, is celebrating a special day.
Lindstrom celebrates his 60th birthday today, as he was born on October 18, 1957 in Medford, OR. The longtime soap vet started his performing career as a drummer before venturing into acting.
Soap fans will remember him from Santa Barbara, Generations, and As the World Turns. Of course, his most famous characters are Port Charles roles where he has played Kevin off and on since the 90s on both GH and its spin-off Port Charles. He also played Kevin’s twin, Ryan, for a while.

Lindstrom even keeps soaps in the family as he’s married to Cady McClain, best known for her role as Dixie on All My Children, but who also appeared on As the World Turn and The Young and the Restless.
