General Hospital star Jon Lindstrom may have terrified fans with his portrayal of serial killer Ryan but in real life, he and wife, former All My Children star Cady McClain, recently saved a life!
The actor shared the news on Twitter, and the post came complete with a video showing the little life in question — along with an explanation.
“We came across this tiny mouse stuck on one of those inhumane traps designed to torture a creature to death. Cady McClain carefully pried him off and cleaned it.”
But the story didn’t stop there. While most people wouldn’t have even cleaned the poor mouse, these two showed that there is indeed kindness in the world but going that extra step.
“We gave it food, water, a chance to dry off, then released it. One needless, painful death averted. #animalsfeelpain,” he added in the caption, as the video showed McClain rubbing the mouse, trying to help it.

While we can’t see Ryan doing anything like that in Port Charles, it was a beautiful display of how we humans can be kinder to animals out in the wild — even if that wild is just outside our own doorway.
