It was an amazing weekend for John J. York as he celebrated his birthday on Sunday with family.
York was born in Chicago, IL on December 10, 1958, which makes him 59 years old, something he pointed out on Twitter.
The beloved actor has been a member of the General Hospital (GH) cast since 1991 and is everyone’s favorite uncle and stepdad. Mac Scorpio was once the Port Charles police commissioner but is much happier living a simple life as owner of The Floating Rib.
York has been married to Victoria Manners since 1986 and they have a grown daughter Schuyler, who made the actor a grandfather for the first time in 2017.
