Soap vet Wally Kurth (Justin Kiriakas, Days of our Lives and Ned Ashton, General Hospital) holds a special cause very near and dear to his heart.
The actor is a Shriner and supports Shriner’s Children’s Hospitals, which he calls America’s best-kept secret. It’s also known as “The World’s Greatest Philanthropy.” The handsome actor and his brothers and their late father have been involved with the Shriners for most of their lives.
Recently the actor took to twitter to express his support for the charitable organization. The Shriners Hospitals provide care beyond cost for Orthopaedics, Burn Care, Spinal Cord Injury, and Cleft Lip and Palate to children throughout North America.
According to recent reports, Kurth, his brothers, and some friends are planning a huge fund-raising country rock festival in Billings, Montana in support of the Billings Al Bedoo Shriners later on this summer.
