Sure, he’s a mobster but Sonny Corinthos of General Hospital loves his kids and does his keep them from harm (whenever possible!) Now, ABC is letting viewers relive the mafioso’s softer, paternal side with the release of episodes featuring Sonny and his role as a father.
Starting today through December 1st, fans can click onto ABC.com to view 16 episodes from The General Hospital Collection: All Sonny’s Children. The episodes feature pivotal moments from Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) life related to fatherhood.
The episodes include Sonny learning that Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) is his son, Michael’s (Chad Duell) devastating confession, Morgan’s (Bryan Craig) heartbreaking struggles with bipolar disorder, and Sonny’s unconditional love and support for daughter Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth).

This collection also features Sonny’s current storyline in which he and wife Carly (Laura Wright) are dealing with the news that their unborn child has been diagnosed with spina bifida.
Last year, Benard celebrated his 25th anniversary with GH. He has won two Daytime Emmys in the category of Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama series in 2003 and 2019. Earlier this year, Benard played John Gotti in the Lifetime movie Victoria Gotti: My Father’s Daughter. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check local listings for airtimes.
