It seems we just had a Jason reveal two years ago on General Hospital (GH)–and that’s because we did.
Just as Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) was about to marry the man she thought was Jason, but who was going by the name Jake Doe, Carly (Laura Wright) deduced Jake was really Jason and it all seemed to make sense. Until now.
Of course the man with Jason’s original face is back in the form of Steve Burton. We knew it had to happen someday, so if it had to happen, do GH fans want the rest of PC to know what’s going on NOW? Soap Hub posed just that question.

Out of about 3,000 votes, a full 79% of you have lost patience. Perhaps it’s the news that leaked months ago about Burton’s return and all the anticipation since then. You just want to see Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) reaction when she sees her first husband’s face and hears his voice once again–even if he doesn’t say much.
Sure, we only saw his face last week after about 10 days of seeing him in a mask and calling him Patient 6, but it feels like forever, so you just want this all to happen already.

The other 21% of you think this entire story is being paced just right. It seems pretty obvious this man is Jason Morgan, and you didn’t expect that many blatant clues with less than a month of him being back onscreen.
In fact, you remember the Jason reveal from two years ago and how it took a whole year for all of Port Charles to learn who Jake Doe was. (Liz knew, but she kept it a secret for seven months.) With this Jason headed home so soon, you figure this will time nicely with November sweeps.
After all, he may make it back to PC, but the other Jason (Billy Miller) and Sam will be in New York City, so you expect a lot of near-misses and are patient for the real deal.
