Chloe Lanier, a Daytime Emmy winner for playing the villainous Nelle Benson on General Hospital, sent some love to her boyfriend and creative partner Kevan McClellan on his special day.

The actress took to Instagram to send him a special wish. “Happy birthday to my magnificent partner in crime,” she posted next to a cute photo of the two. “Thank you for being the most unbelievably kind, creative and bizarre person on the planet. Thanks for putting up with me. No one works harder and I couldn’t be more in awe of your plethora of talents. You amaze me every day. Love you! HAPPPYYYYY BIRTHDAYYYYYYYY! ….can we move to New York already?”
The two started dating in 2014 and raised nearly $22,000 for The Reveal, a short film project they conceived together. The satire, which she wrote, is centered around a hipster gender reveal party and they both star. Also in the film are GH’s Josh Swickard (Chase) and The Young and the Restless’s Brytni Sarpy (Elena; ex-Valerie, GH).
Earlier this year, Lanier posted a photo of herself and her boyfriend at Disneyland and another of the two enjoying time in New York together. For the latter, she captioned the Instagram post with “Just a couple gals in New York. 😉@kevan.mcclellan happy 6th.”

Lanier also posted a series of shots on Instagram back in February to celebrate their anniversary.
“Happy Anniversary to the weirdest person on planet earth,” she wrote at the time. “You are the most passionate human being I know. No one can hold a candle to your abundance of talent. You are beautiful, bizarre, hard-working, hilarious, and full of heart. Look out world, he’s coming for ya. Thank you for loving me for six years and traveling all over with me (tbh mainly just New York) I love you…let’s go to Italy.”
In Port Charles, Nelle is fighting Michael for custody of their son, Wiley, and recently blackmailed Julian into marrying her so she can appear to have a “stable” home. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
