We all know how General Hospital’s Carly feels about her (let’s be honest, here) favorite child, Michael, dating her not-so-favorite sister, Nelle. (It’s OK, Carly was adopted, so Michael and Nelle aren’t blood relations. If they were, Carly would have a stronger leg to stand on.) But how do fans feel about the pairing?
Net Zero
End it, please, begged 85%. These two have zero chemistry. Watching them moon over each other is worse than watching paint dry. Paint, at least, has the potential to look pretty. These two are never going to become interesting unless they’re paired with someone else.
And even if Carly (Laura Wright) is adopted, Nelle (Chloe Lanier) is still Michael’s (Chad Duell) aunt. Plus, one of her kidneys is floating around inside of Josslyn. That’s all a little too close for comfort. In fact, you’re kind of hoping that Nelle was responsible for her fiancé’s death.
That means she’ll either kill Michael, which would at least make something happen in this endless story, or she’ll become more interesting. Getting Sonny (Maurice Benard) into bed doesn’t make a character interesting. Pretty much every woman on the canvas has already been similarly blessed.

They are not dull, they’re sweet, counter a minority 15%. Just think about everything both those kids have been through. Nelle had her kidney stolen and had to pretend to be in love with Sonny.
Michael was shot in the head and assaulted in prison and once paired with Kiki (Hayley Erin). They both deserve some happiness, and if they find it with each other, who are we — or Carly — to stand in their way?
