No one can deny we are living in stressful times as Americans and those around the world try to stay safe in this new world of coronavirus. General Hospital star Cynthia Watros has some wise words — and a little action — that might help everyone, including your kids, find a little peace.
Cynthia Watros Wants You To Take A Breath
The Daytime Emmy-winning actress took a moment in her car to share a video on social media. In it, she let everyone know that she’s thinking about them and also suggested a way to do a little self-care during these trying times — something that you could even do with the kids to help them.
“Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you know that I love you and I’m thinking about you and you’re not alone. It’s kind of a crazy time out there but know that you’re okay and we’re all going to get through this. So take a deep breath,” which she does, “and then let it out.” After taking a moment, she had more to say.

“Another way to breathe that you can do yourself and that you can do with your kids is you put your hand out like this,” she says, putting her hand in front of her face with her fingers spread apart.
Watros then traced her finger along the side of her hand to instruct people when to breathe in and when to let it out. You can breathe along with her by watching the full Instagram video below.
The entire General Hospital cast is currently on hiatus from filming due to coronavirus worries. While the show has at least a month of episodes in the can, there has been no word as to what will happen if and when those run out before they get the go-ahead to return to work.
