It looks like Nelle feels genuinely bad about tricking and hurting Sonny in the worst possible way this week, but she has no qualms about hurting Carly on General Hospital.
According to the December 12 issue of Soap Opera Digest, Nelle’s prime concern is making sure Carly (Laura Wright) finds out she slept with Sonny (Maurice Benard), although technically she only slept with Sonny and nothing else happened. She wants to hurt Carly, but we have no idea why.
This sure does sound like the Caroline Benson of 20 years ago who wanted to hurt Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) for giving her up for adoption, but one little plot point makes us think that Carly is NOT Nelle’s mother.
She has feelings for Michael–which would make her have feelings for her brother, which is in turn kinda ick.
“That’s a struggle for Nelle,” actress Chloe Lanier told Digest. “There is a selfish part of Carly that Nelle despises and what she likes about Michael is that he’s actually taken the time to get to know her.

Just what her agenda is and her motives behind it have GH fans scratching their heads. We know she has a father out there claiming she owes him, but is she working on his orders? And, who is this father? Is it someone we know, or is Nelle a character truly out of left field?
And, what about Michael (Chad Duell)? Is he ready to love again after losing Sabrina so recently? In the back of her mind, Nelle might hope so.
