We know Valentin told Anna she had a girl last week when she gave birth to her secret Faison baby. We also know we didn’t believe him. After all, he did call Peter right after Anna left. And on Monday’s General Hospital (GH), he made it seem like he’s kept track of Peter for years.
But, maybe he kept track of Claudette (Bree Williamson) as well, because he knew she was the baby Anna (Finola Hughes) gave birth to and he wanted to make sure she would be okay. Once she became an adult, what better way to keep her under your thumb than to have her give birth to your child, even if she wasn’t the mother?
OK, we know what you’re thinking–this would mean that Claudette was married to her brother, but paternity puzzles can always be wrong. Perhaps Anna gave birth to someone else’s child. Or, even better–Liesl got it all wrong and there was another contender in the Nathan Daddy Sweepstakes.
Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) obsession with Claudette has always been a little odd, but it would finally make sense if she had some sort of connection to him her entire life. We know she’s still somewhere in the back of his mind as he did recently delete her picture off that laptop.
In fact, that tells us she’s still on the writers’ minds, which means she’s bound to turn up one of these days to stir things up. What better way to stir things up than to turn out to be another Faison offspring—and the offspring of one of the show’s longtime heroines?

Claudette would be around the right age for this mystery child it’s hard to believe Anna ever had—just slightly older than Robin. If Peter were her son, it might not work because he seems slightly younger than Robin.
Besides, Peter is the obvious choice and Valentin lying would also seem obvious. Let’s go for the not-so-obvious here and have Valentin tell the truth—and give Anna a daughter nobody ever thought of—until now. Hmmm…
While this is just speculation, you honestly never know…
