Sometimes to move forward in life, you need to look to the past. This is exactly what Maxie is doing when she pays a visit to her late husband Nathan’s grave.

In an attempt to hide the truth from Nina, Carly swaps the necklace that Avery found with a similar-looking one. Nikolas busts her in the act, but she thinks quick on her feet and makes up a story about wanting to surprise Donna with a matching necklace to Avery’s. It looks like Nina may never learn the truth that Nelle was her daughter.
Franco learns there is no cure for his tumor yet, and to make matters worse, the Invader published a big news story on Franco’s diagnosis. He is angry and upset but knows exactly who to blame… Peter.
At the hospital, Franco goes wild when he begins hearing Peter’s voice in his head again. He causes a scene, which causes Alexis to panic. She grabs a syringe to stop him from hurting Sam (which was how she took in the scene since she was drunk). In the chaos, Dante arrives at the exact wrong time, and Alexis hits him with the syringe by accident. Dante collapses and the staff rushes to help him.
