Fans loved it when Hayden came back to Port Charles and into Finn’s life and hated it when she abruptly left again, Now, their portrayers, Rebecca Budig and Michael Easton, have reunited.
Michael Easton and Rebecca Budig Together Again
Alas, the reunion didn’t occur on-screen, but rather off at a recent charity event. The two stars lent their names to bring awareness to Kusewera, an organization that, according to its mission statement, empowers and educates children through active and creative play programs. Actress Sherri Saum has been an ambassador and supporter of Kusewera since its inception.
Attending the event were Easton’s former One Life to Live castmate Saum (ex-Keri; now, Locke & Key), Saum’s real-life husband Kamar de los Reyes (ex-Antonio, OLTL), and Saum’s former on-screen wife Teri Polo (The Fosters).

Jason George (Station 19; Grey’s Anatomy), who played Saum’s leading man, Michael, opposite her character, Vanessa, on the short-lived Sunset Beach was also there.

Hayden and Finn’s story was put on hold a while back but kicked back into gear upon Budig’s return to GH last year and the (finally!) revelation that Hayden had given birth to Finn’s daughter, Violet (Jophielle Love). Alas, history repeated itself when Hayden bolted from town again. She left Violet behind for Finn to raise. The little tyke has brought joy to the sometimes-grim doctor’s demeanor.
