Peter hasn’t had much to be happy about on General Hospital, but Wes Ramsey has plenty to celebrate.
Ramsey was born on October 6, 1977, in Louisville, Kentucky to William and Linda Ramsey, which means that he is turning 41 on Saturday!
He showed an interest in acting by age 12 and enrolled in the Walden Theater three-week program. He would then spend the next seven years training.
In 1996, Ramsey attended The Juilliard School in Manhattan and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
That same year, the young actor got his first TV role on the now-defunct soap, Guiding Light as Sam Spencer. It was there that he first met his now-girlfriend and GH co-star, Laura Wright, who played Cassie.
In 2003, he was cast as Wyatt Halliwell on the cult-hit Charmed as the grandson to current co-stars Finola Hughes (Anna) and James Read (Gregory Chase).

Ramsey also appeared in films like Last Seen in Idaho with Casper Van Dien (ex-Ty Moody, One Life to Live) and Shawn Christian (ex-Daniel, DAYS; ex-Mike, As The World Turns).
