There’s a good reason you haven’t been seeing much of Diane on General Hospital. Actress Carolyn Hennesy has been crazy busy shooting new roles.

And one of them is quite frightening. Read all about it now.

Her latest flick is called St. Agatha, in which Hennesy plays Mother Superior but don’t expect her to break into a rendition of Climb Every Mountain from The Sound of Music. This Mother Superior is infinitely scarier than her musical counterpart.

A pregnant young woman named Mary, played by Sabrina Kern, arrives hoping to give her child a better life.

Somehow, we doubt that’s what’s going to happen since this is from the director of Saw II, Saw III, and Saw IV — Darren Lynn Bousman. Mother Superior takes her in and reveals she has some strict policies. Uh oh, Mary!

According to the film’s synopsis on the IMDB, it’s set in the 1950s in small-town Georgia, where the sick and twisted truth of the convent and the odd people that lurk inside its halls will be enough to shock and scare audiences — so be prepared.

The movie has been making the festival circuit and will be released in theaters, On Demand, and Digital HD on February 8. You can see the trailer below.

General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
