General Hospital (GH) fans, Franco, and Elizabeth were all shocked this week to learn that Liz’s childhood best friend, with whom she shared her first kiss, is a woman. The surprise comes from Liz sharing that kiss with a boy named Terry, who is now a female doctor named Terry who’s arrived in town for a new job at GH.
Liz’s reaction was immediate acceptance after the initial shock. Franco’s reaction was pure curiosity, as he was typical Franco and admitted how awkward he felt, but sat and listened to Terry’s story about why she transitioned and the toll it took on her family.
