General Hospital spoilers suggest that Jackie has one agenda for coming to Port Charles, but we’re seeing an alternative agenda!

When Jackie (Kim Delaney) first blew back into town, she appeared to have her eyes on ex-flame Finn (Michael Easton), her stepson… and (who we now know as) the true biological father of her son, Chase (Josh Swickard). Now that secret has blown up and we are still waiting for the pieces to settle. But what if Finn was not Jackie’s primary target, but just a diversion from her true goal?
Ancient History
Back in the olden days known as the early 1980s, Robert (Tristan Rogers) and Jackie (then Demi Moore) were quite the hot item. But then Robert married Holly (Emma Samms) in order to keep her from being deported after his BFF Luke (Anthony Geary) was declared dead, and she was pregnant with his child. Holly lost the baby, Luke came back from the dead, but Robert and Holly fell in love. Jackie got very, very cranky about it. And then she left town.

What if she never got over being dumped in such an unceremonious manner? She certainly hinted at that when she first saw him again. What if she came to Port Charles and only stirred up the drama with Finn, Chase, and Gregory (Gregory Harrison) as a way to make Robert feel sorry for her? He never could walk away from a damsel in distress. (See Holly, above.)
Tool Time
But Finn wasn’t merely a tool to get Robert to give Jackie a shoulder to cry on. She also wanted to mess up his relationship with Anna (Finola Hughes). Why? Well, the woman Jackie really wanted to get back at for ruining what she thought was her happy relationship is Holly. But Holly isn’t around.
So the woman Robert was married to before – and after – will have to do. Not only has Anna lose her fiancé (granted that had more to do with Peter than Finn’s big secret), but she’ll have to see his ex with her ex. It’s poetic justice!
