There is trouble brewing for almost every player in town. A lot of it starts and ends with Cyrus (Jeff Kober). He wants his mother back and will do just about anything to make it happen, including putting the fear of God into Laura (Genie Francis).
Meanwhile, Jason’s (Steve Burton) life behind bars isn’t sunshine and roses. Don’t worry, though, Carly (Laura Wright) has a plan. She vows to get Jason out of that cell once and for all.
Speaking of prison, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) dreads the day she has to check in. Will she make it to the prison gates for her sentence or will she do something she is sure to regret?

General Hospital History
GH made its debut in 1963 and is the second longest-running daytime soap opera in American history. The longest-running soap is Guiding Light. While it’s not the longest-running serial, General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.
The daytime drama outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households! From legendary Laura’s (Genie Francis) four decades on and off and back on as the show’s leading heroine, to Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) exploits, to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH certainly knows how to please their viewers.
Bringing the Drama
More than five decades of gripping drama as well as love in the afternoon have kept this ABC daytime soap on the air and winning Daytime Emmys. It is one of four soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include Days of our Lives, The Young and the Restless (YR), and The Bold and the Beautiful (BB). GH airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for air times.
