Three years after meeting on New Year’s Eve, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Nathan (Ryan Paevey) finally plan to make it official as they ring in 2017 with a wedding.
Will everything go as planned as Nathan’s past comes back to haunt him once again. He wakes up on his wedding day with a foreboding feeling that tells us to look for something odd to happen.
A Clue! Please! A Clue!
Meanwhile, Nelle (Chloe Lanier) spends Christmas Eve earlier in the week opening up to Michael (Chad Duell), as the audience gets a clue to her past and her agenda.

By the end of the week, Bobbie puts Nelle on the spot. Over at Casa Corinthos, as Sonny (Maurice Benard) makes a plea to Carly (Laura Wright), she wonders if things can ever be the same between them again.
One thing that could help is clearing Sonny’s name, which Jason (Billy Miller) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) are still trying to do. Curtis seems off this story for a while as Jordan makes him a PCPD offer. Jordan also has to contend with a returned Andre.

After their passionate (and drunken, at least on Alexis’s part) kiss, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) tells Julian (William deVry) he needs to stop meddling in her life. Of course, he has something to hold over her so that might be difficult.
