One Step Ahead
Jason gets ahead of an enemy thanks to Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), who used his tech skills to find the identity of the man who delivered the magic kit to Jake.
Jason is determined to find the man because he needs to know what else he (and Helena) has in store for his son.
Jason also quickly realizes that if this man was the one who gave the magic kit to Jake on his birthday, he could still be in town – and he’s right. He’s at the hospital, shadowing Jake.

Liz (Rebecca Herbst) has picked up Jake (Hudson West) from his appointment with Andre (Anthony Montgomery) at the hospital and Helena’s (Constance Towers) mystery stooge is still lurking nearby. She takes pains to keep Jake safe, but is it enough?

Meanwhile, Sam (Kelly Monaco) is a bit tweaked by the voices she’s hearing and the visions she’s having (like Liz holding a gun on her when it was a piece of paper).
