General Hospital spoilers (GH) for September 5-8 promise a week of heartbreak, mystery, and suspense in Port Charles.
Good News Or Bad News?
Jason (Billy Miller) seems to just be holding on, which of course has Sam (Kelly Monaco) breaking down and trying to hold it together — but it’s not easy.
However, spoilers reveal that Sam doesn’t feel like celebrating, so good news may be on its way if she may have reason to celebrate. Or could it be something else?
But, does what happened to Jason completely alarm Elizabeth (Rebecca Hebst)? She ends up taking extraordinary measures to protect Jake.
Carly (Laura Wright) also accepts her fate next week.
Does this mean she knows she just has to live with mob life if she wants Sonny (Maurice Benard)?

Good Ava Or Bad Ava?
Ava’s (Maura West) transformation into repentant Ava continues as Griffin (Matt Cohen) gets emotional and she is there for him. Of course, she then makes a rash decision, so she’s definitely still Ava.
She later decides to re-focus her energy, so perhaps her rash decision wasn’t a good one.
Dead End
Finn (Michael Easton) went to visit Raymond in prison with high hopes, but it seems his hopes were perhaps a little too high. He’s met with disappointment and is no closer to finding Hayden (Rebecca Budig) than before.
Happiness Ends?
Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) finds himself in a position to help next week, but it also seems that Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) has regrets and Lulu (Emme Rylan) finds herself back to square one.
