The General Hospital recap for Thursday, June 27 features a daring jailbreak, a mother haunted by her grief, and a surprising confession from Epiphany.
Before officer Billy had a chance to remove Jason (Steve Burton) from his cell and murder him another officer arrived with an intoxicated Michael (Chad Duell). But the drunks shtick was merely a front so Michael could sneak a paper clip to Jason. When the two cops returned Jason knocked Billy out cold and locked the second man up with him in the cell.
Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) continued to taunt Sam (Kelly Monaco) at the park and implied that she really did have feelings for him.
Lucas (Ryan Carnes) happened upon them and violently shoved Shiloh away and threatened him. After calming her brother down, Sam headed for Beecher’s Corners. Jason and Michael made it to the safety of her car and the trio headed back home.
Drew (Billy Miller) tried valiantly to persuade Kim (Tamara Braun) that her plan to have a baby with him was just her grief talking. He told her that he could not make a child with her who would one day learn his birth was simply to make up for a dead sibling.
After Drew left Kim was haunted by the sounds of a crying infant. She searched her apartment and was confronted by a vision of Oscar (Garren Stitt) who frightened her by making the crying sound. She called Shiloh over to her apartment and asked for his help.
At the hospital, Epiphany (Sonya Eddy) surprised Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) by telling her that she also suffered from Type 2 Diabetes. Even more surprising was her disclosure that she had suffered an illness-related heart attack. Bobbie thanked her for her candor and Epiphany promised to be there for her friend.
